Pa:{(651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-019 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING, ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />FORSTREET~PROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates <br />with reference to the improvement 21 51 Avenue from a point approximately 600 feet <br />south of Main Street to a point approximately 1400 feet south of Main Street and <br />continuing on a new unnamed street parallel to Main Street westerly to 20th Avenue, by <br />installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, street pavement, curb, storm sewer and related <br />drainage improvements and the report was received and considered by the City Council <br />on February 15,2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report indicates that the proposed project is feasible; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement in accordance with the report and the <br />assessment of the benefiting property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated cost of <br />$1,399,195. <br /> <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 22nd day of <br />March, 2006, in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 6:30 p.m., and the City <br />Clerk shall give such mailed and published notice of such hearing and <br />improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />3. Tom Peterson of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Assoc., is hereby designated as the <br />engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the <br />making of this improvement. <br /> <br />4.
