Kim Stephan is the staffmember that primarily
provides assistance to the Economic Development Commission and the Park and Rec
Commission. It is estimated that she spends about 32 hours per month attending
meetings, preparing agendas and packets, compiling the written minutes for each
commission and miscellaneous assistance on various projects, i.e., Snow Biz, Business
Appreciation, etc. Kim's hourly rate is $15.84, including benefits; overtime is estimated
at $23.76, again including benefits. It is estimated that meetings are about 2 hours, so
Kim works approximately 4 hours of overtime, earning about $95.04 on average per
month. That leaves about 28 hours of regular time that she spends on the commissions,
earning $443.52 per month. In a year, Kim's compensation for working with the
commissions is approximately $6,463.

These figures are based on estimates and if the Council is interested in real numbers, I
can have Kim keep track ofthe time she works with the commissions.

As the City Administrator, I provide staff assistance to the Planning and Zoning
Commission.
