<br />-- <br />..- <br /> <br />Effective 9/5/00 <br />City of Centerville Ord. #4 <br />more than forty-eight (48) hours on any residential parcel provided they are stored <br />on the permitted driveway area outside of the road right-of-way or are in a side or <br />rear yard. A licensed motor home or fifth wheel trailer is allowed .in a side or rear <br />yard. <br /> <br />1 . Boat <br />2. Camper <br />3. Motor home <br />4. Snowmobile's <br />5. Personal watercraft <br />6. Personal Utility Trailer <br />7. Ice House <br />8. Small construction equipment <br /> <br />None of the above mentioned items may have an overall length from front to back in <br />excess of thirty-:-five feet (35'). <br /> <br />D. Clothes lines, antennae, air conditioners, outdoor grills, play equipment, ornaments <br />and monuments; and <br /> <br />E. Temporary storage of materials and equipment during construction and <br />landscaping. <br /> <br />F. Lakeshore properties can store the following items of personal property within 50' of <br />the shoreline during the months from September to May: docks, boat lifts, swim <br />rafts, slides, and other swimming equipment. <br /> <br />Commercial/Industrial Districts: <br /> <br />Storage of products, materials and equipment, excluding rubbish or junk, which is necessary to an <br />approved business operation in a Commercial or Industrial District, and which is completely screened <br />from adjoining properties and rights-of-way. The Site Plan Review process is required to determine the <br />appropriateness for storage permitted in this Section, surfacing required for the storage area and the <br />screening required. The Site Plan Review process requires a hearing before the Planning and Zoning <br />Committee and the City Council. Outside display of vehicles, equipment and merchandise for direct sale <br />to consumers when such outside display is customary and necessary to the trade and is a permitted use <br />within the zoning district. The Site Plan Review process is required to determine the appropriateness of <br />the storage or display proposed, surfacing required for the display area and any additional landscaping or <br />screening which may be required. <br /> <br />Division 135: Surface Water Management <br /> <br />Storm water shall be managed in accordance with the City's Surface Water Management Plan, National <br />Urban Runoff Program (NURP) standards for the design of new storm water ponds and the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency's, Urban Best Management Practices, titled "Protectinq Water Qualitv in Urban <br />Areas". These standards shall be applied to the review of any proposed development occurring to <br />reduce non-point source pollutant loadings in storm water runoff. <br /> <br />Page 39 of 59 <br />
