City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> June 11,2012 <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member King, to approve <br /> the June 27, 2012 City Council Meeting Minutes as presented. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> V. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 1. City of Centerville June 27, 2012 through July 11, 2012 Claims (Check #27327- <br /> 27346) <br /> 2. Centennial Police Department Claims through June 28, 2012 (Check #9002 — <br /> 9012) <br /> 3. Centennial Fire District Claims through June 30, 2012 (Check #5393 -5408) <br /> Council Member King requested that Item #2 be pulled for further discussion of Check <br /> #9006. <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King, to <br /> approve Items #1 and 3 of the Consent Agenda as presented. <br /> Administrator Larson stated that Check #9006, NAC is a preventative maintenance <br /> agreement for equipment. <br /> Council Member Fehrenbacher amended the motion to include Item #2 of the Consent <br /> Agenda as presented. <br /> All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> VI. AWARDS /PRESENTATIONS /APPEARANCES <br /> 1. None. <br /> VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Approval to Extend Contract with Waste Management for Community Recycling <br /> & Garbage Hauling <br /> Administrator Larson stated that minimal modifications had been made to the original <br /> contract; however, rates would remain the same for 2013, rates would increase by 1.5% <br /> for 2014 and rates for 2015 through 2017 would increase by the Consumer Price Index <br /> but not to exceed 3 %. Administrator Larson also stated that bulk/large item collection <br /> was made more precise with fees remaining the same for curbside pickup as with cleanup <br /> day. <br /> Page 2 of 5 <br /> 3 <br />
