Encroachment Agreements – 7360 Peltier Circle – Fence & 1652 Lakeland Circle, <br />Above Ground Swimming Pool <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, to <br />approve Consent Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />VI.AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Chief James Coan & Captain Ron Nelson, Centennial Lakes Police Department – <br />Introduction of Officers Shane Werneke & Jaren Zech <br /> <br />Chief Coan & Captain Nelson were both present and introduced the new officers. Both <br />Officers Mr. Jaren Zech & Mr. Shane Werneke briefed Council on their career <br />backgrounds and stated that they were excited and honored to be members of the <br />Department. Council welcomed the new officers. <br /> <br /> <br />VII.OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII.NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. 2013 Budget – Centennial Lakes Police Department <br /> <br />Finance Director Jeziorski stated that the Police 2013 Budget included an increase of <br />approximately 15,000 from the prior year. Mayor Wilharber stated that the Centennial <br />Lakes Governing Board had approved the proposed budget for forwarding on to member <br />Council’s. Council Member King had concerns regarding grant funding, CERT Program <br />and whether the grants that have been received require stipulations. Council Member <br />Fehrenbacher responded by stating that the CERT Program was fully funded for a two (2) <br />year period and the grant was received last year. Council Member Fehrenbacher stated <br />that most of the grants applied for and obtained have limited stipulations or restrictions <br />placed on them. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, to <br />approve the 2013 Budget for the Centennial Lakes Police Department as presented. <br />All in favor.
