City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 8, 2006 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Lee, to approve <br />Resolution #06-012. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />9. Successful Performance Review – Building Inspector Joel McPherson <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />advancement to Grade 5, Step 10. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. Planning and Zoning Recommendation for Rezone and Comprehensive Plan <br />th <br />Amendment for 6805 and 6845 20 Avenue South from B-1 to I-1, Resolution <br />#06-015 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed the proposal with the Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that the zoning might not be right and she would like Staff to <br />check the zoning as she thought there was a compromise to leave a portion of it <br />residential. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff would look into the matter to clear up any <br />confusion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve Resolution #06-015, approving the Comprehensive Plan Amendment of <br />th <br />6805 and 6845 20 Avenue South to I-1. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Paar, to <br />approve Ordinance #88, an Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property to Industrial. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />11. Parade Funds <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked the Council to consider setting up the funding for the parade <br />and asked the City to handle the expenditures to prevent any illusion of inappropriate <br />handling of funds since he is an elected official. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to <br />authorize the City to handle the funding of the parade through normal channels for <br />Council Member Lee as designated Parade Chair. Ayes – 4, Nays – 0. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee abstained from voting. <br /> <br />VIII.
