RES. #12 -0 <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET AND TAX LEVIES for 2013 <br /> WHEREAS, with the guidance of the Council a proposed budget has been prepared by <br /> staff for the year 2013, and <br /> WHEREAS, a public meeting has been held and the City Council has considered input <br /> from the public related to such budget and the resulting tax levies. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br /> Centerville, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, that the attached summary budget for <br /> 2013 is hereby adopted. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following sums of money be levied for the <br /> current year, collectable in 2013 upon the taxable property in the City of Centerville for <br /> the following purposes: <br /> Total General Fund Levy ..... ............................... $ 1.739, 600 <br /> Debt Service Levy: <br /> 2005A Building Bonds .... ............................... $ 70,000 <br /> 2009A Improvement Bonds ............................. $ 215,000 <br /> 2011 A Improvement Bonds ............................. $ 244,000 <br /> Total Debt Service Levy $ 529.000 <br /> *The above levy includes the amount necessary to cover debt service requirements in <br /> 2013 and cancels any previous scheduled amounts. <br /> Total All Levies $ 2,268,600 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to transmit a <br /> certified copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> Adopted by the City Council on the 12th day of December, 2012. <br /> Tom Wilharber, Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> Teresa Bender, Clerk <br /> I <br /> -28- <br />
