Fred began his practice with the law fIrmS of Smith, Juster, <br />Feikema, Malmon & Haskvitz, 1960-1961. and Robins, Davis & Lyons (ilow Robins, <br />Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi), 1961-1963. In 1963, Fred started his own law fIrm and has <br />maintained his fIrm ever since. Supreme Court of Minnesota, 1976. Of counsel since July 2005. <br /> <br />Professional Chronology. Dennis has been a solo practitioner or small law fIrm partner in <br />three firms since entering practice in 1976. A feature of his professional history is that.. <br />Dennis has served as the City Attorney for the City of Lexington since 1985. Currently, <br />Dennis is of counsel to the fmn where he advises on civil matters for the City. <br /> <br />· Lisa M. Sorbe, Paralegal <br /> <br />Ms. Sorbe has been with Kurt since 2004. She is familiar with every operation within the <br />firm and knows all of our clients (usually by their first name). Lisa is directly responsible <br />for the office preparation of prosecution matters such as file organization, document <br />production and contact with witnesses or administrative agencies. She is the initial point <br />of contact for City Officials and Police Officers. <br /> <br />· Jennifer Scribner, Legal Assistant. <br /> <br />Jennifer has been with the firm since September of 2005. Jennifer is intimately involved <br />in all aspects of prosecution matters. <br /> <br />Soecific Areas Of Exoertise <br /> <br />Criminal Prosecution <br /> <br />We have prosecuted petty misdemeanor, misdemeanor, and gross misdemeanor cases for <br />Circle Pines and Lexington for over 20 years. Cases are processed from the defendant's fIrst <br />appearance through jury trial, if necessary. We are also responsible for advising the officers of <br />the Centennial Lakes Police Department regarding the current law, and for conducting relevant <br />parts of the field training for all new officers. We hold all of the certifications and law <br />enforcement authorizations necessary to perform criminal prosecutions. These are as follow: <br /> <br />Certification from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Crime Information <br />Center granting our firm access to the National Law Enforcement Telecommunications <br />System. This certification allows the firm direct access to the F.B.I.'s nationwide system <br />of law enforcement and criminal history records. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
