P4 rQ
Publications
4779 Bloom Ave., White Bear Lake, MN 55110 • Phone: 651 - 407 -1200 • Fax: 651 -429 -1242
January 3, 2013
L
Mr. Dallas Larson
City Administrator
City of Centerville
1880 Main Street
Centerville, MN 55038
Dear Mr. Larson:
This letter is a follow -up to our conversation regarding legal notices and your concern regarding
use of a biweekly publication versus the convenience of a weekly publication for the City of
Centerville legal notices.
We spoke of the concept of appointing the Quad Community Press as your legal publication for
public notices and publishing condensed notices in The Citizen. The legal rate for notices in the
Quad Community Press would be $8.15 per column inch and the condensed notices published in
The Citizen would be discounted at $6.00 per column inch. Since many of the legal notices can
be condensed to two to three inches, the additional investment would be minimal. It would be
up to your staff to summarize and submit the notices to The Citizen. As you know, the Quad
currently has a circulation of more than 7,243 with around 86 copies distributed to homes in
Centerville, and additional copies racked at a number of locations. Because of the high
readership of The Citizen, I believe publishing in both papers would be a great way to give the
city flexibility in notices and the residents the communication and information they rely on and
enjoy.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
n
Publisher
CJ:mp
Cl: L DaUasLarson0iO3I3.doc
Your Best Source For Community Information
White Bear Press • Uadnais Heights Press • Quad Community Press • Shoreview Press • The C;tizen • The Lowdown
newsopresspubs -corn ppcomp@pres-spubs.com marketingtlpraesspubs.com ppcirc@presspubs.com
