City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> December 12, 2012 <br /> Motion was made by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar <br /> to approve the fmdings and recommendation of Planning and Zoning and to <br /> approve A Conditional Use Permit to CenterMart, 1801 Main Street to Operate a <br /> Vehicle & Equipment Rental Business at the same location. <br /> Discussion ensued regarding the use of the unpaved neighboring lot (1825 Main Street), <br /> minimum requirements for the use of that lot, abutting property owner concerns and <br /> required permits needed for improvements to either 1801 or 1825 Main Street. <br /> Administrator Larson stated that currently the property owner is parking trailers on a <br /> grassy area and they either need to pave that surface or move the trailers to an area that is <br /> dust free and impervious. Administrator Larson stated that due to the fact that the <br /> building resides on one (1) parcel and the same owner owns the abutting parcel, the <br /> owner(s) could pave a parking lot with proper permitting, request the proper City permits <br /> to operate on that location: however, the recommended permit only covers 1801 Main <br /> Street and they would have to seek additional permitting if they desire to operate this <br /> business at 1825 Main Street. <br /> All in favor. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> 2. Planning & Zoning Commission Findings for Rezoning from P -1 to B -1, 7087 — <br /> 20 Avenue South (Old Public Works Site) <br /> Administrator Larson stated that the City's 2010 -2030 Comprehensive Plan included this <br /> modification and alignment of the zoning map is required. <br /> Motion was made by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member <br /> King to aDvrove the Planning & Zoning Commission's Findings for Rezoning 7087 <br /> — 20 Avenue South to B -1 from P -1. All in favor. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> Administrator Larson stated that Staff will provide Council with an ordinance allowing <br /> for this amendment at their next meeting. <br /> 3. Res. #12 -029 — Adopting Budget & Tax Levies for 2013 <br /> Discussion was held previously. <br /> Motion was made by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar to <br /> adopt Res. #12 -029 — Adopting Budget & Tax Levies for 2013 as presented All in <br /> favor.
