<br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, January 2, 2013 – 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of <br />Centerville held a scheduled meeting on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Centerville City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Chairperson Patrick Branch <br /> Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br /> Committee Member Mark Haiden <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> Committee Member Kevin Waeghe <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> Public Works Director Paul Palzer <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Vice-Chairperson Jon Grahek <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Council Member Steve King (at Council Meeting) <br />_____________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Branch called the January 2, 2013 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting <br />to order at 6:32 p.m. at Centerville City Hall administrative offices. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL – SEE ABOVE <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Haiden, seconded by Committee Member <br />Peterson to add number 7 “Volunteer Flyer” under Committee Business and delete <br />number 4 “Irrigation – Hidden Spring Park/Cornerstone Park”, also under <br />Committee Business and to add #5 “City Council consideration of Volleyball Court” <br />under Updates. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES – None <br /> <br />IV. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> <br />1. Consideration of the December 12, 2012 Parks and Recreation Committee <br />meeting minutes. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Waeghe, seconded by Committee <br />Member Bettinger to approve the December 12, 2012 meeting minutes with the <br />following changes under Committee Business: #1 first paragraph: add coma <br />between the words application & tabling; #2 – add “was provided to the committee <br />members” between the words contract and which; #3 correct word “prenting to <br />preventing”; #6 correct word “discuss to discussion”, new paragraph beginning <br /> <br />
