RESOLUTION #13 -0 13 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of: <br /> 1. Center Street from Dupre Road to 20 Avenue, Sumac Court and Ivy Court by, <br /> reconstruction of base and street pavement, curb, storm sewer and related <br /> drainage improvements, and construction of utilities in advance of paving, and <br /> 2. Peterson Trail from Main Street to Fox Run, Fox Run from Peterson Trail <br /> westerly to its terminus in the cul -de -sac, Hayfield Road from Peterson Trail to <br /> Mill Road and all of Houle Circle, by removal and replacement of asphalt <br /> pavement and related drainage improvements, and <br /> Bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were <br /> received complying with the advertisement: <br /> NAME OF BIDDER AMOUNT OF BID <br /> Northdale Construction Company $1,533,650.86 <br /> Redstone Construction Company, Inc. $1,582,281.72 <br /> Burschville Construction, Inc. $1,592,253.80 <br /> C & L Excavating, Inc. $1,624,674.22 <br /> Frattalone Companies $1,642,639.87 <br /> T.A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc. $1,643,271.73 <br /> Valley Paving, Inc. $1,751,383.57 <br /> Meyer Contracting, Inc. $1,922,227.20 <br /> Dressel Contracting, Inc. $2,272,563.00 <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction Company, 9760 — 71" Street <br /> N.E., Albertville, MN 55301, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with Northdale Construction Company in the name of the City of <br /> Centerville for the aforementioned improvement according to the plans and <br /> specifications therefore approved by the Council and on file with the City Clerk. <br />
