<br />(Ord. 80, passed 5-11-2005) <br /> <br />~~ 154.141 THROUGH 154.149 RESERVED FOR FUTURE EXPANSION. <br /> <br />~ 154.150 OTHER STANDARDS <br /> <br />(A) Odors and emissions. Odors and emissions from any use shall not exceed the <br />regulations set forth by Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Rules. <br /> <br />(B) Dust and particulates. Dust and particulate matter from any use shall be in <br />compliance with and regulated by Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Rules. <br /> <br />(C) Noise and vibrations. Noise and vibrations generated from any use shall be in <br />compliance with and regulated by Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Rules. <br /> <br />(D) Glare. Direct or reflected glare, as from floodlights, spotlights or high <br />temperature processes, and as differentiated from general illumination, shall not be <br />visible beyond the site of origin at any property line. Any lights used for exterior <br />illumination shall be directed away from adjacent properties. <br /> <br />(E) Waste. All waste generated from any use shall be managed in compliance with <br />and regulated by Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Rules. Waste generated on any <br />premises shall be kept in containers designed for waste collection and stored in a <br />structure or within an approved enclosed or screened area. The accumulation, storage, <br />processing or disposal of waste, compost or recyclable materials on any premises, which <br />is not generated on that premises, is prohibited, except as specifically provided in this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />(F) Smoke. Smoke shall be measured at the point of emission by using the <br />Ringelman Smoke Chart published by the United States Bureau of Mines in Circular No. <br />7718. Smoke not darker or more opaque than No. I on that chart may be emitted, except <br />that smoke not darker or more opaque thanNo. 3 on the chart may be emitted for a period <br />not longer than 4 minutes in any 30 minutes. These provisions applicable to visible gray <br />smoke of a different color but with an equivalent capacity. <br /> <br />(G) Fumes or gases. Fumes or gases shall not be emitted at any point in <br />concentrations that are noxious, toxic or corrosive. The values given in Table I <br />(Industrial Hygiene Standards - Maximum Allowable Concentration for 8-hour day, 5 <br />days per week), Table III (Odor Thresholds), Table IV (Concentrations of Substances <br />Causing Pain in the Eyes) and Table V (Exposure to Substances Causing Damage to <br />Vegetation) in the latest revision of Chapter 5, "Physiological Effects" that contains such <br />tables, in the Air Pollution Abatement Manual published by the Manufacturing Chemists' <br />Association, Inc., Washington, D.C., are hereby established as guides for the <br />
