<br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />Wednesday, March 6, 2013 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br />held a scheduled meeting on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Centerville City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Vice-Chairperson Jon Grahek <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br />Committee Member Mark Haiden <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />Committee Kevin Waeghe <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Chairperson Patrick Branch <br />Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> Public Works Director Paul Palzer <br />Council Member Steve King <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> <br />1.Roll Call <br /> <br />Vice Chairperson Jon Grahek called the March 6, 2013 Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member <br />Waeghe, to set the agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />III.APPEARANCES <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Thomas Kohl, Bald Eagle Water Ski Club (Benches, Portable Toilets and <br />Grant for Invasive Aquatic Plant Management Permit) <br /> <br />Mr. Kohl did not appear before the Committee. Mr. Kohl will again be invited to attend the <br />next meeting of the Committee. Mr. Kohl is being requested to attend to discuss benches, <br />portable toilets and potential financial assistance in treating Centerville Lake for milfoil. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Mr. Brian Nelson, Centennial Soccer <br /> <br />The Committee discussed the Clubs responsibility to provide nets and striping if desired and <br />to be mindful of abutting property owners curb space. <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member <br />nd <br />Seeley, to recommend to the Council to approve the 2 part of the summer/fall soccer <br />schedule. Vice Chairperson Grahek abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />
