City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 10, 2013 <br /> <br />The Mayor provided Council Members with an opportunity to amend the presented <br />minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King to <br />approve the minutes of the March 27, 2013 City Council Meeting Minutes as <br />presented. All in favor. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. City of Centerville March 27, 2013 through April 10, 2013 Claims (Check <br />#27896-27912) & (Check #27913-27918) <br />2. Centennial Police Department Claims through March 28, 2013 (Check #9383- <br />9402) <br />3. Church of St. Genevieve Council of Catholic Women – Quilt Raffle & Special <br />Event Private Property <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to <br />approve the Consent Agenda as presented. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mound Trail Watermain Extension <br /> <br />Administrator Larson reported that since Council’s last meeting, Staff discussions with <br />Anoka County have been favorable and an agreement for connection of the Wiederkehr <br />residence at a cost of $14,025 and the County’s Visitor Center being accessed a <br />residential connection with two (2) sewer availability charges units (SAC) at a cost of <br />$12,700. Administrator Larson stated that he had spoken with both of the Lino Lakes <br />residents and one (1) has already submitted their connection fee of $6,350. Administrator <br />Larson also stated that with the funds that have been recovered from these three (3) <br />sources, it is felt that the remainder of the costs associated with the project would be <br />recovered through connection fees on the remaining benefiting properties’. <br /> <br />Discussion also ensued regarding the size of the watermain and potential for servicing the <br />campground, the municipalities size versus water tower capacity, inability to require the <br />two (2) Lino Lakes residents to connect to services within the City of Centerville’s codes, <br />the assumption that the City of Lino Lake would not service these residents in the future. <br />Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br />
