PaJ((651) 429-8629 <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA, MINNESOTA <br />RES. #06-022 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION RECEIVING <br />REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />LET IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Hunter's Crossing 3rd <br />Addition, by installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, paving, curb and gutter <br />and related drainage improvements was filed with the City Council on March <br />2, 2006, is hereby declared to be signed by 100% of the owners of property <br />affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity with Minnesota <br />Statutes, Section 429.035. <br />2. A report has been prepared by Mr. Tom Peterson of Bonestroo, Rosene, <br />Anderlik and Associates with reference to the improvement and such report <br />indicates that the improvement is feasible at an estimated cost of $601,524. <br />3. Mr. Tom Peterson of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates is hereby <br />designated as the engineer for this improvement. He has prepared plans and <br />specifications for the making of this improvement. Such plans and <br />specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are <br />hereby approved. <br />4. The City Administrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official <br />paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the <br />making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br />advertisement shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be <br />done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Administrator until 10:00 <br />a. m. on April 6, 2006, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall by the City Administrator and Engineer, will then be <br />tabulated, and will be considered by the Council within 30 days of such opening. <br />Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid <br />will be given the opportunity to address the Council on the issue of <br />responsibility.
