We received a report <br /> that your business failed that check and permitted the sale of an alcoholic beverage to a <br /> minor. The bartender involved was recently convicted of that violation. <br /> City Code establishes a presumptive civil penalty for liquor violations. The penalty for a <br /> first violation is $500 plus license suspension of five days. In order to afford you the <br /> opportunity for a hearing to prove that you /your employee(s) have not failed this <br /> compliance check, a Council meeting has been scheduled for June 12, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> If you choose to forgo the hearing and accept the penalty, please contact me.
