He submitted a permit request a few months ago. He is looking for two playing surfaces for little kids (5 &6 yr olds). The first month, the committee put his request on hold as we found that it had conflicts with the soccer league. He coordinated with the soccer league and came up with a clean schedule. The second month we put his request on hold because of the damage done to the fields So we still need to find a field or two for the little guys. I suggested two areas inside LaMotte park Paul, I am sending this to you to make sure this works out with your plans to repair the main soccer fields. The first area is near the southern most soccer field. There is a line, probably an irrigation pipe, that runs from the skate park south to the ditch. The damaged soccer field is to the west of that line. The area to the east of that line is not damaged and is big enough for pint sized football players. The sound area is east of the new volleyball court outside the baseball field fence. It isn't perfectly flat, but Brian though it would work I will take this back to the committee at our July meeting. But I want to know from staff that there are no objections to what I have proposed. He needs the fields in August, so July meeting is the right time to approve his permit request Pat. Sent from my iPad 1
