As for other ideas and demos: How about leading all the runners in a little warm -up exercise before the runs start? At the start line about 7:50 a.m. There is a music jamboree on Friday night (July 26) and the Lions hold a street dance at LaMotte park on Saturday night. i don't have any influence over the street dance. More importantly, I don't think that either of those events are the right environment for kids doing a demo. But we can talk about that. Are you involved in the parade? A group walking the parade and stopping to do short demos would give you greater exposure to families with young children, as opposed to the street dances which are mostly young adults. You might also consider having a team do one or both of the runs. I keep trying to enlist teams, but so far we do not have any groups running as a team, which could be a good thing as the team would be unique and highly noticeable. Thanks again for being a sponsor.
