SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT <br />WAIVER OF HEARING AND APPEAL, <br />AGREEMENT made this 14th day of August, 2013, by and between the City of <br />Centerville, a Minnesota municipal corporation ("City"), and Ronald Hogan & Katie Hogan, <br />("Property Owner") a married couple_ <br />RECITALS <br />A. Property Owner is the fee owner of the following described real property, located <br />in the City of Centerville, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Subject Property") <br />PIN # 23-31-22-34-0002 <br />6892 Centerville Road. <br />B. Property Owner requests that the City of Centerville undertake the improvement <br />of installation of a service line connecting the home with sanitary sewer and water. ("Public <br />Improvement") <br />C. The costs expected to be incurred for the Public Improvement is the amount of the <br />special assessment listed below. <br />D. Property Owner will complete yard restoration at their sole expense outside of the <br />costs included in this agreement. <br />NOVO', THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THEIR MUTUAL <br />COVENANTS, THE PARTIES HERETO AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City will assess the Subject Property for its portion of the Public <br />Improvement. The amount of the special assessment is $12,505. The special <br />assessment principal shall be payable in equal installments over fifteen years, plus <br />four percent (4.00%) interest on the unpaid balance. Interest shall begin accruing <br />on September 1, 2013. Each installment of the special assessment principal and <br />interest will be certified to the county and become due and payable on the same <br />schedule as the property taxes for the Subject Property beginning in 2014. <br />-1- <br />14 <br />
