Each Agreement has been flagged indicating <br />where your officials should complete and/or sign. Once the Agreements have been executed, please return all 3 to <br />me. We will then have county officials sign and return one fully executed Agreement to you for your file. Exhibit A of <br />the Agreement briefly details the funded activity. If Exhibit A is unclear, or if the infontlation is incorrect, please <br />contact me. We'd like to have the signed Agreements back by no later than August 16, 2013. HUD released <br />2013 funds July 251h so reimbursement requests can be submitted to our office for payment as soon as the enclosed <br />Agreement has been fully executed. <br />You have 18 months to spend these funds beginning July 1, 2013 and ending December 31, 2014; that being said. <br />I'm reminding all fund recipients that each May 1s1 HUD conducts a timeliness test to measure how quickly funds are <br />spent. HUD wants allocated funds spent sooner rather than later; and if the County does not pass this test, funding <br />can be recaptured. Any project funds that you can spend prior to May 1st helps us pass that yearly test and ensures <br />continued funding now and in the future, <br />One final reminder: If your activity includes construction, it may trigger Davis -Bacon requirements; so please check <br />with me prior to starting the activity.
