Applications for Park Facility Permits — Administrative Staff approved the following <br /> events due to timing and meeting cancellations. <br /> a. October 7, 2013, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Cub Scouts introduction to soccer at <br /> Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park, Outfield #3. <br /> b. October 12, 2013: Cub Scouts Annual Rocket Launch at Laurie LaMotte <br /> Memorial Park Grounds with a rain date of October 19, 2013. <br /> C. October 23, 25 & 28, 2013, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Laurie LaMotte Memorial <br /> Park Hockey Rink. <br /> 9. Special Event Permit Application — "Shake Your Shamrock" <br /> "Shake Your Shamrock" is a 5K/8K run scheduled for March 15, 2014 and sponsored by <br /> Midwest Events and Kelly's Bar. This is the second year for this event. <br /> Motion was made by Committee Member Branch, seconded by Committee Member <br /> Waeghe to recommend to the City Council to approve the Special Event Permit <br /> Application for the "Shake Your Shamrock" event All in favor. Motion carried <br /> VI. UPDATES <br /> 1. Council Updates — Council Member Steve King <br /> Council Member King updated the Committee by stating that Council is discussing a <br /> watermain project for the Royal Meadows Development which would be offset by Grant <br /> Funding that has been obtained by the City if residents meet certain financial guidelines <br /> and Anoka County's reconstruction of Centerville Road/CSAH21. <br /> On -going Items: NONE <br /> VII.
