Res. #13 -0 <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET AND TAX LEVIES FOR 2014 <br /> WHEREAS, with the guidance of the Council a proposed budget has been prepared by staff for <br /> the year 2014, and <br /> WHEREAS, a public meeting has been held and the City Council has considered input from the <br /> public related to such budget and the resulting tax levies. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville, County <br /> of Anoka, State of Minnesota, that the attached budget for 2014 is hereby adopted. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following sums of money be levied for the current year, <br /> collectable in 2014 upon the taxable property in the City of Centerville for the following <br /> purposes: <br /> Total General Fund Levy ............. .............................. 1,739,600 <br /> Debt Service Levy: <br /> 2005A Building Bonds ................ ..............................$ 70,000 <br /> 2009A Improvement Bonds ........ ..............................$ 215,000 <br /> 2011A Improvement Bonds ........ ..............................$ 244,000 <br /> 2013A Improvement Bonds ......... ..............................$ 7,700 <br /> Total Debt Service Levy $ 536,700 <br /> *The above levy includes the amount necessary to cover debt service requirements in 2014 <br /> Total All Levies $ 2,276,300 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to transmit a certified <br /> copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> Adopted by the City Council on the 11 th day of December, 2013. <br /> Tom Wilharber, Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> Teresa Bender, Clerk <br /> 22 <br />
