City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 12, 2014 <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to approve <br />the minutes of the January 22, 2014 City Council Meeting as presented. All in favor. <br />Motion passed. <br /> <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. City of Centerville January 23, 2014 through February 12, 2014 Claims (Check #28493- <br /> 28518) & (Check #28519-28524) <br />2. Centennial Police Department Claims through January 23, 2014 (Check #9753-9777) <br />3. Centennial Fire District Claims through February 3, 2014 (Check #6174-6194 w/Check <br /> #6195-6205 Payroll <br />4. LMCIT Liability Coverage Waiver/Not Waiver Statutory Tort Limits <br />5. Secure Appropriate Road Closure Permit for 2014 Festival of the Lakes (Fete des Lacs) <br />Parade – Not to Exceed $50 ~ Anoka County Highway Department <br /> <br />Council Member Love desired to pull Item #4 from the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to approve <br />the Consent Agenda Items 1-3 & 5 as presented. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />Council Member Love desired to clarify the City’s desire of not waiving the statutory tort <br />liability limits. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve Consent <br />Item #4 LMCIT Liability Coverage Waiver, not waiving statutory tort limits. All in favor. <br />Motion passed. <br /> <br />VI. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />1. Mr. Greg Kieselhorst, Centerville Lions ~ 2014 Cadillac Dinner <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst introduced himself to Council and stated that the Lions desired to bring their <br />annual dinner back to Centerville by hosting the event at St. Genevieve’s Community Parish <br />utilizing their food preparation area. Mr. Kiselhorst stated that the Lions desired to provide a <br />raffle and alcoholic beverages at the gathering scheduled for March 22, 2014 and that they would <br />be securing the necessary food permits with the County. <br /> <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1.
