RESOLUTION NUMBER 14 -010
Resolution Calling for Hearing.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed to improve the following streets:
North Robin Lane from 20 Avenue to West Robin Lane, and West Robin Lane from
North Robin Lane to South Robin Lane, and South Robin Lane from 20 Avenue to
West Robin Lane and Cardinal Drive from West Robin Lane to 20 Avenue by
construction of watermain and watermain services
AND WHEREAS, the Council on February 26, 2014, received a report of bids from the
engineer on the project, indicating that bids were reasonable and within the engineer's
estimate for the project.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA:
1. The council anticipates awarding a contract for the project on or about March 26,
2014, and action is delayed on the bids until the affected property owners are
given an opportunity to comment on the project.
2. The City Clerk is directed to give notice to the affected property owners
indicating the City's intentions to award a contract for the project. Such notice
shall indicate that the property owners that do not qualify for the CDBG grant
subsidy, because of the high concentration of these wells within the City's
Wellhead Protection Area, will have the water trunk fee and one half of the permit
fees waived if they choose to connect this year and agree to seal their wells. Such
hearing shall be held on March 26, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter.
Adopted by the council this 26 day of February, 2014.
 Tom Wilharber, Mayor
Teresa Bender, Clerk
