CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission held its regular <br /> meeting on April 1, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Chairperson Darrin Mosher <br /> Commissioner Mark Haiden Q <br /> Commissioner Russ Koski O <br /> Commissioner Olaf Lee D Q Q <br /> Commissioner Matthew Montain <br /> Commissioner Thomas Wood <br /> ABSENT: Commissioner James Flint <br /> STAFF: City Clerk Teresa Bender <br /> Administrator Dallas Larson <br /> OTHERS PRESENT: Council Member Love <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER. The meeting was called to order at 6:32 p.m. <br /> 1. Roll Call <br /> II. APPEARANCES - None <br /> III. PUBLIC HEARINGS - None <br /> IV. OLD BUSINESS - None <br /> V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Chain of Lakes—Bald Eagle Regional Trail Master Plan <br /> City Clerk Bender stated that this item was placed in the Commission's packet for review and if <br /> the Commission desired to have comments forwarded to the County, Staff could complete that <br /> request. Clerk Bender stated that at least one member of the Parks & Recreation Committee and <br /> the Mayor attended a recent meeting held at City Hall by Anoka County to discuss the plan. <br /> Commissioners Koski and Montain also stated that they attended the meeting. <br /> Clerk Bender stated that the Parks & Recreation Committee Chairperson Branch has provided <br /> comments that included alternative routes, however, there is concern that the City has already <br /> agreed to construct a portion of the proposed trailway (Heritage Street to Dupre Road) within the <br /> agreements associated with the CSAH2 1/Centerville re-construction project that would be eligible <br /> for 50%reimbursement once the County secures the grant. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
