CITY OF CENTERVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING June 25, 2014 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled meeting of June 25, 2014 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber Council Member King Council Member JeffPaar Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher Council Member D. Love ABSENT: None STAFF: City Administrator Dallas Larson City Engineer Mark Statz Legal Counsel Kurt Glaser Finance Director, Ellie Paulseth Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. 111. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES I Centerville Lions, Mr. Greg Kieselhorst reviewed the scheduled 2014 Fete des Lacs activities stating that the Lions and Kelly's Korner would be co -sponsoring the street dance within Kelly's parking lot, and fencing will be installed around the outside perimeter, port -a -potties, tables and chairs will be set up within that area. The Lions are requesting that the City waive the fees for their requested On - Sale Temporary Liquor License, Noise and Raffle permits. Mr. Kieselhorst stated that there was concern for mingling of patrons between the bar and the parking lot where the Lions would be selling their alcohol. Attorney Glaser stated that the Lions could apply for a temporary license that would cover the interior of the building and the parking lot allowing patrons to mingle between the two locations. Mr. Kieselhorst stated that parking would be at the Centerville Elementary School for the event. Council Member King questioned police presence at the event. Mr. Kieselhorst stated that the police department would provide a Community Service Officer/Reserve and the patrol officer would be aware of the event similar to if the dance was held at the park. Mr. Kieselhorst stated that all 21 and over clients would be wristbanded inside and outside of the premises. -28-
