Temporary Gambling Permit — Raffle, LaMotte Park, July 27, 2014 <br />Discussion ensued regarding the type of temporary liquor license the City would issue which <br />would allow for patrons to mingle throughout the premises. Attorney Glaser stated that a <br />Temporary On -Sale license would allow for this. <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to approve <br />the requested permits and waiving of associated fees as presented. AR in favor. Motion <br />Passed. <br />2. Ms. Karen Blaska, Park Planner, Anoka County Parks <br />Res. #14-0XX — Supporting the Development of the Chain of Lakes -Otter Lake Regional <br />Trail <br />Ms. Blaska introduced herself to Council and requested their support for the Chain of Lakes - <br />Otter Lake Regional Trail Plan. Ms. Blaska stated that the trail has been a vision of the since <br />1996. Ms. Blaska stated that there have been several public meetings with City Officials and the <br />public regarding the trail. Ms. Blaska also stated that the County has slightly modified the <br />proposed location of the trail subsequent to these meetings. <br />Discussion ensued regarding construction timing with the County installed trail, City installed <br />trail and reconstruction of Centerville Road, maintenance responsibilities, City reimbursement <br />for half of the City's trail installation, proposed route through the City of Lino Lake's park on the <br />comer of Birch Street and Centerville Road, and future Centerville development along <br />Centerville Road and its impact on the trail location. <br />-30- <br />
