Emergency Operations Plan <br /> Emergency Support Function *1 - Transportation and Evacuation <br /> Primary Agency <br /> The primary agency responsible for this Emergency Support Function(ESF) is the Public <br /> Works Department. <br /> Centennial Lakes Police Department is responsible for traffic control during an <br /> evacuation. <br /> Local Supporting Agencies <br /> The supporting agencies for this ESF include: <br /> Centennial Lakes Police Department <br /> Centennial Lakes Emergency Management <br /> Anoka County Cities <br /> Local Bus Companies <br /> Local Medical Transportation Providers <br /> State Resource <br /> Minnesota Department of Transportation <br /> Minnesota State Patrol <br /> Minnesota Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management <br /> Minnesota National Guard <br /> References <br /> The following is a list of reference documents for this ESF: <br /> Emergency Operations Plan <br /> Public Works Standard Operating Procedures <br /> Minnesota Emergency Operations Plan <br /> Purpose <br /> To outline how transportation systems will be restored in the event of an emergency. <br /> In addition,the management of evacuation routes into or out of Anoka County. <br /> Scope <br /> Emergency Support Function #i focuses on the maintenance, establishment of and <br /> recovery of transportation routes throughout the City for which it has the legal <br /> responsibility. This plan only covers City-owned transportation systems and routes. <br /> Anoka County is responsible for their own systems as well as the State of Minnesota <br /> being responsible for state-owned transportation routes. The Public Works Director will <br /> coordinate the public and private partners for the mass evacuation per SOP's. <br /> Page i of 8 <br />
