1. No One Left Hungry 5K& 8K Runs & Kids Run/Walk—September 19, 2015 A Special Event Permit Application has been submitted by Patrick Bench. Motion was made by Committee Member Peterson & seconded by Committee Member Seeley to recommend approval of this event to the Citv Council with one correction on nage 1 to change the submission date from 10-29-15 to 10-29-14 AR in favor. Skate Night—Saturday,January 10, 2015 & Saturday, February 7, 2015 Strategy for Promotion of these events: Suggestions included the City website, Community Reader Board (in front of city hall),post flyers/posters in area day care centers & area businesses, in the Kiosks, Warming house door, include information in the Friday Flash(school information) about 2-3 weeks in advance (prior to Winter Break), contact The Citizen for placement in their Community Activities section. The Committee will look at other options for maximum dissemination of information for this event. Committee Member Waeghe offered to make a draft for a poster for these events. 3. Drinking Fountain— Tabled to December. 4. Promotion of Music in the Park Mr John VonDeLinde & Mr. Andy Soltvedt, Anoka County, had requested to see flyers, prior to approval for placement, by February, 2015. There was some miscommunication and misinformation regarding this request. They were requesting this information for the Anoka County sponsored "Music in the Park" program held at the Coon Rapids Dam. Centerville needs permission from Anoka County to place flyers for Centerville activities in the Anoka County Parks i.e. Wargo, Campground, Beach & Chominix Golf Course. VI. UPDATES 1. Council Updates—Council Member Steve King ~ NO UPDATE 2. Hay/Sleigh Ride Bunker Stables has been contacted; staff is waiting for the contract from them. 3.
