CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RES. #14-0.? <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has received the tabulation as it relates to the Mayor's seat <br /> and two (2) Council seats which were voted on by the residents of the City of Centerville <br /> on November 4, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, the total votes cast for local offices were: 1,425 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of <br /> Centerville,Anoka County, Minnesota, does hereby canvass and declare the winners of <br /> the following local offices: <br /> Mayor Seat—Two (2) year term <br /> Thomas Wilharber received 905 in-person votes, 58 absentee votes; total of 963 <br /> Write-ins received 56 in-person votes, 0 absentee votes; total of 56 votes <br /> Over votes 1 and under votes received 463 <br /> Two (2) Council Seats—Four(4) year terms <br /> D. Love received 653 in-person votes, 42 absentee votes; total of 695 <br /> Steve King received 586 in-person votes, 28 absentee votes; total of 614 <br /> Tom Wood received 570 in-person votes, 35 absentee votes; total of 605 <br /> Over votes 0 and under votes 1,030 <br /> The above terms will commence pursuant to M.S. 412.02 Subd 2 on the first Monday of <br /> January following the election. All officers chosen and qualified as such shall hold office <br /> until their successors qualify. <br /> Per M.S. 204C.33 and 205.185 the City Council acts as the canvassing board for their <br /> municipal election to examine and to declare the results. In the case of a time vote, the <br /> canvassing board determines the winner by lot. <br /> Adopted by the City Council this 12th day of November, 2014. <br /> Signed by the Canvassing Board: <br />
