City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> December 10,2014 <br /> Mr. Ericson clarified the resolution language should state the ordering of the <br /> improvement, designation of Stantec as the engineer and ordering the bidding that would <br /> be reflective in Item #3 and one (1) bid cost for all of them. <br /> Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to <br /> approve Res. #14-039a —Accepting Plans & Specifications, Ordering Proiect - 2015 <br /> Mill& Overlay Proiect as presented. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> Council Member Paar stated that he has received several complaints about the manhole <br /> depths comparative to the roadway and felt that these need to be repaired. <br /> 7. Ordinance#69, Second Series 2015 Fee Schedule <br /> Administrator Ericson stated that staff has attempted to increase fees where there are <br /> known deficits or predicted deficits as with sewer and water fees. Administrator Larson <br /> stated that staff felt that a five (5) percent increase in water fees and a three (3) percent <br /> increase in sewer fees would allow for a more stable revenue for these enterprise funds <br /> allowing for future repairs/replacements. Staff also pointed out that there will be a slight <br /> increase to the cost of the water meters. <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar to <br /> approve Ordinance #69, Second Series 2015 as presented. All in favor. Motion <br /> passed. <br /> 8. Schedule Onboarding Session with Brimeyer/Fursman <br /> Administrator Ericson stated that all Council Members except one (1) have completed <br /> their surveys and suggested December 29, 2014 from 6:00 — 8:00 p.m. as a date for <br /> reviewing them. <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar to to schedule <br /> the Onboarding Session with Brimever/Fursmen for December 29, 2014 from 6 to 8 <br /> All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 9. City Hall Hours ( December 24 & December 31, 2014) — Previously Closed Christmas <br /> Eve Day & 'h Day New Year's Eve Day w/Employee's Use of PTO Time for Missed <br /> Hours <br /> Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member King to approve <br /> ClosW2 City Hall the Entire Day of December 24, 2014 and Closing City Hall at <br /> 12:00 (noon) on New Year's Eve Day.
