Centerville Lion's ReQJJest for Fete des Lacs 2006 - Buc;Jgeted Funds ($12.000) to <br />be Expended to the Lions. <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst appeared before Council and requested budgeted funds for the 2006 Fete <br />de Lacs Festival. Mr. Kieselhorst provided an overview of the proposed budget for the <br />2006 Festival. <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst outlined the events that are free for residents to attend and indicated that <br />the Lions will use City funds for those events. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked Staff to verify if it is legitimate for the City to pay for the prizes for <br />the battle of the bands. <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst clarified that the Lions will pay for the prizes. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar asked for clarification of the total amount being asked for. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated the amount is $12,372.
