City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> January 28,2015 <br /> C. Mr. Dean Luxenburg Correspondence—Administrator Ericson stated that this was <br /> provided for information purposes only and that he was aware that Council <br /> Members had already received it directly from Mr. Luxenburg via email. <br /> d. Res. #15-003 & Res. #15-004 (FYI) — Administrator Ericson stated that these <br /> items were included in the packet for those that were not present at the last <br /> meeting where appointments had been made. <br /> Council Member Paar stated that at the last Fire Steering meeting they discussed a 2% salary <br /> increase for(3) three full-time employees as budgeted, discussed investments,briefly considered <br /> Lino Lake's request to officially leave the district on January 1, 2016 rather than their previously <br /> requested date of January 31, 2015, additional equipment distribution, current staffing levels of <br /> stations,possibility of the Relief Association's consideration of allowing(5) five year for vesting <br /> versus the previously required(10)ten years. <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated that if the City of Lino Lakes desired to come back to the Centennial <br /> Fire District it would be considered and if they choose to operate on their own that is wonderful <br /> also. <br /> Council Member King stated that the North Metro. Telecommunication Commission is <br /> entertaining the option to pay off the building bonds early and saving approximately $6,000 in <br /> interest. <br /> Mayor Wilharber recessed the regularly scheduled Council meeting to a scheduled Closed <br /> Executive Session following a five(5)minute break at 8:00 p.m. <br /> XII. CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION—PENDING LITIGATION DISCUSSIONS <br /> The Council met in closed session to discuss pending litigation related to separate matters <br /> involved Sheehy Construction,and John and Jolene Kelly <br /> Mayor Wilharber re-opened the Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting at 9:16 p.m. <br /> XIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> _Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to Adjourn the <br /> Regularly Scheduled Council Meetine of January 28 2015 at 9.17 mm.
