CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> February 11,2015 <br /> 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br /> meeting of February 11, 2015 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Council Member Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member Steve King (Arrived @ 6:35 p.m.) <br /> Council Member D. Love <br /> Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher <br /> ABSENT: None. ' <br /> STAFF: City Administrator Mike Ericson - <br /> Legal Counsel Kurt Glaser <br /> City Engineer Mark Statz <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> III. PUBLIC HEARING <br /> 1. None. <br /> IV. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated that there was a replacement page 6 of minutes, added Check #29333- <br /> 29341 w/voided Check #29329 & 29334, added page #118a and added X. New Business, Item <br /> #2. Purchase Agreement— 1737 Main Street. <br /> Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to approve <br /> the Agenda with the above stated amendments. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> V. Review of Bids—2015 Street Improvement Project <br /> Engineer Statz stated that a summary of bids was provided to Council this evening for their <br /> review. Engineer Statz also stated that seven (7) bidders participated, he felt that they were <br /> competitive bids and Valley Paving, Inc. was the apparent low bidder at $503,900.50. Engineer <br /> Statz stated that the bids exceeded anticipated amounts and that discussions should be had with <br /> 1 <br />
