It turned out to be a very nice day for the
event!
This past year was also noteworthy for the addition of Officer Shane Werneke as an additional
police department liaison to CERT. Shane brings enthusiasm and demonstrated commitment to
community safety to CERT.
CERT members give generously of their time with little notice and no financial remuneration.
They maintain a state of readiness and are always ready to respond and assist when needed. The
team members are a strong asset to the community's emergency management capabilities.
Having this amazing group of people with the ability to respond to an event impacting their
community at a moment's notice is the basis for an effective community disaster response.
x Centennial Lakes CERT
assisted with the Annual
Lexington Flash and Dash 5K.
From top left:Jill Perron, Dennis Maki, Marc Brandt
Michelle Lakso(Centennial Lakes CERT Coordinator)
with Dennis Maki, Marc Brandt,Tim Krehl
Genfennia(.&iis Pot ce Vearfinenf 12014 ANNUAL REPORT
