Flash and Dash 5K route. CERT members monitored runners, helped with traffic control, and <br /> handed out water at the water stations along the route. It turned out to be a very nice day for the <br /> event! <br /> This past year was also noteworthy for the addition of Officer Shane Werneke as an additional <br /> police department liaison to CERT. Shane brings enthusiasm and demonstrated commitment to <br /> community safety to CERT. <br /> CERT members give generously of their time with little notice and no financial remuneration. <br /> They maintain a state of readiness and are always ready to respond and assist when needed.
