Overview of the Financial Statements <br /> This discussion and analysis is intended to serve as an introduction to the City's basic financial statements. The City's basic financial <br /> statements comprise three components: 1)government-wide financial statements,2)fund financial statements,and 3)notes to the <br /> financial statements. This analysis contains other supplemental information in addition to the basic financial statements themselves. <br /> The financial statements also include notes that explain some of the information in the financial statements and provide more detailed <br /> data. The statements are followed by a section of combining and individual fund financial statements and schedules that further <br /> explains and supports the information in the financial statements. Figure 1 shows how the required parts of this annual report are <br /> arranged and relate to one another.
