CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> el,Viff <br /> MONTHL Y ENGINEER'S REPORT <br /> UWdt'ud IZ7 For the May 13, 2015 City Council Meeting <br /> Italics=New information. <br /> Normal = No change from last report. <br /> 1. 2013 Street and Utility Improvements (193801520). Rice Creek Watershed has approved the <br /> infiltration rate on the rain gardens, but will not final out the permit until bare spots in the rain gardens <br /> have been successfully seeded. <br /> 2. Centerville Road (CSAH 21) Reconstruction (193801639). Steady progress has been made on <br /> the north portion of the project. Storm sewer work on the large 48-inch storm sewer is nearly complete <br /> as well as our water and sewer modifications. Street work should begin shortly. <br /> The county is processing a formal change order to add the concrete intersection removals to the <br /> project. <br /> 3. 21st Ave., North of Main St. (193802667). City staff is working through some final issues on this <br /> project. <br /> 4. 2015 Mill and Overlay Project (193803042). Work has begun with curb replacements, structure <br /> adjustments and patching. Milling of the bituminous is on-going at the time of this report and should <br /> be completed by the end of the week. Restoration work behind the curb replacements will take place <br /> before wear course paving to avoid damage to the wear course. <br /> 5. Miscellaneous(193803123). <br /> • We are working with city staff to address FEMA floodplain issues with implications on real estate <br /> transactions. <br /> • We are reviewing sewer and water services to the property in the NW quadrant of Main Street <br /> and Centerville Road to accommodate a potential business. <br />
