City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 27, 2015 <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve <br />the minutes of the May 13, 2015 City Council Meeting as presented. All in favor except <br />Council Member King who abstained due to his absence of the meeting. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1.City of Centerville May 14, 2015 through May 27, 2015 Claims (Check #29464-29476) <br />& (Check #29477-29479) <br /> <br />2.Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims through May 14, 2015 (Check #10368- <br />10393) <br /> <br />3.Centennial Fire District Claims through May 20, 2015 (Check #6942-6969) w/Payroll <br />(Check #6945-6949) <br /> <br />4.Encroachment Agreement ~ Shed, 7387 Old Mill Road <br />5. The Church of St. Genevieve Request for Special Event Permit Application ~ On Private <br />Property – Annual Chicken Dinner, 6995 Centerville Road (Waive Fees), Subject to <br />Liquor Liability Insurance, August 16, 2015 <br /> a. Temporary Liquor License – 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. <br /> b. Temporary Charitable Gambling License, (Bingo, Raffle & Pull-Tabs <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber provided Council Members an opportunity to pull items from the Consent <br />Agenda for additional discussion. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber requested that Item #4 be pulled for additional discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, to approve <br />Consent Agenda 1-3 and Item #5 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber questioned the proposed location of the shed and upon further research it was <br />determined that the location was satisfactory meeting property line setbacks but within a <br />drainage/utility easement. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member King to approve Item #4 <br />as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. 7212 Mill Road – Purchase Agreement, $50,000 – Mr. Lou Suski, Gaughan <br />Companies <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Lou Suski appeared before Council and reported that he had just received a purchase <br />agreement for the property located at 7212 Mill Road - $50,000 cash. Mr. Suski stated that he <br />contacted the broker representing the previous buyer with the expired purchase agreement and <br />relayed City’s decision from the Closed Executive Session on May 13, 2015 regarding the <br />purchase price of $50,000 including the unassessed sewer and water assessments pending and <br />did not receive a reply. Mr. Suski also stated that he had been contacted by female party <br />regarding the property previously and that he attempted to make contact with her again. Mr. <br />Suski reported that he had been contact by Mr. Eric Newman over the weekend, again today and <br />Page 2 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
