PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> Wednesday,June 3,2015—6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of <br /> Centerville held a scheduled meeting on June 3,2015 at the City Hall location. <br /> Present: Chairperson Jon Grahek <br /> Vice Chairperson Kevin Waeghe <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Chris Bettinger <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br /> Committee Member Charles Reinhard <br /> Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> Also Present: Council Member, Steve King <br /> Public Works Director,Paul Palzer <br /> City Administrator,Mike Ericson <br /> Absent: None <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairperson Grahek called the June 3, 2015 Meeting of the Parks & Recreation Committee to <br /> order at 6:33 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. <br /> Roll Call—see above <br /> 11. SET AGENDA <br /> Motion made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member Seeley <br /> to amend the agenda by adding Mr. Tom Lee and Mr. Pat Branch under appearances, #8 <br /> Park Permit	 Running Ventures,Inc. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> 111. APPEARANCES— <br /> Mr.Tom Lee-Music in the Park <br /> Mr. Lee provided a review of the first week of this event stating that approximately 45 <br /> people were in attendance. He also stated that he may not be in attendance to coordinate <br /> this event on June 16 and July 21, 2015 and asked for volunteers to assist in placing the <br /> audio equipment in preparation for the performances. He stated there needs to be a police <br /> presence for the fireworks. Also there will be no Jam in 2015. <br /> After his report there was discussion about possibly having an ice cream social with root <br /> beer floats at the last performance. It was suggested to do a review of this event and <br /> place it on the agenda for August. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
