CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> August 26,2015 <br /> 6:30 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br /> meeting of August 12, 2015 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher <br /> Council Member Steve King <br /> Council Member Jeff Paar - <br /> Council Member D. Love <br /> y <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> STAFF: City Administrator Mike Ericson <br /> Engineer Mark Statz <br /> Finance Director Ellen Paulseth <br /> Public Works Director Paul Palzer <br /> I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> III. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATION <br /> 1. Mr. Brad Larsen, MN DOT MnPASS Policy & Planning Program Director, I-35E <br /> Improvements & MnPass Extension Project <br /> Mr. Larsen introduced himself to Council and stated that all commuters that utilize I-35E have <br /> endured extensive road construction over the past few years and are now experiencing some of <br /> the benefits. Mr. Larsen gave Council an overview of work completed and anticipated in the <br /> next years. Mr. Larson stated that MNDot has constructed 17 new bridges and 160 lane miles of <br /> new pavement, new interchange at Cayuga Street, new frontage road and auxiliary lane between <br /> Maryland Avenue and University Avenue, additional exit lane from I-35E to I-94/Highway 52, <br /> new park and ride lots at County Road E and CSAH14/Main Street and new MnPASS Express <br /> Lanes on I-35E. <br /> Mr. Larsen gave a brief overview of the MnPass Express Lanes that are coming to the east metro <br /> by stating that phase one would be completed at the end of 2015 and is located on the <br /> northbound and southbound I-35E between Little Canada Road and Cayuga Street. <br /> Mr. Larson also stated that phase two would be completed by the end of 2016 and involves a <br /> MnPass Express Lanes being constructed between Little Canada Road and County Road J <br /> 2 <br />
