<br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />Sealed bids will be received by the City of Centerville, Minnesota in the City Hall at 1880 Main Street, <br />Centerville, Minnesota 55038, until 11 :00 A.M., C.D.S.T., Thursday, May 22,2003, at which time they <br />will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor and materials and all else <br />necessary for the following: <br /> <br />Peltier Preserve Utility and Street Improvements <br />1,200 LF 8" PVC Sanitary Sewer <br />2,300 LF 6" and 8" PVC Water Main <br />1,000 LF 10" HDPE Water Main - Directional Drill <br />1,100 LF 12" - 18" RCP and HDPE Storm Sewer <br />3,400 CY Select Granular Borrow <br />2,500 TN Class 5 Aggregate Base <br />950 TN Bituminous Materials <br />3,500 LF Concrete Curb and Gutter <br />Together with services, manholes, catch basins, valves, hydrants, draintile, <br />sidewalk, and restorations. <br /> <br />Drawings and Specifications, Bid Forms and Contract Documents may be seen at the office of the City <br />Administrator, Centerville, Minnesota, and at the office of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, <br />Inc., Consulting Engineers, 2335 W. Trunk Highway 36, St. Paul, MN 55113, (651) 636-4600. Plans <br />can also be purchased with a credit card over the internet from our website at www.bonestroo.com. <br /> <br />Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond naming the Owner as obligee, certified check payable <br />to the City Administrator, or a cash deposit equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, <br />which shall be forfeited to the City in the event that the bidder fails to enter into a contract. <br /> <br />The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period of time not to <br />exceed sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for <br />a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. <br /> <br />Payment for the work will be by cash or check. <br /> <br />Contractors desiring a copy of the plans and specifications and proposal forms may obtain them from <br />the office of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., upon payment of a non-refundable fee of <br />$45.00.
