City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />August 26, 2015 <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love, to approve <br />the minutes of the August 12, 2015 City Council Meeting as presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />VII. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1.City of Centerville August 13, 2015 through August 26, 2015 Claims (Check #29661- <br />29677) & voided Check #29570 & (Check #29678-29683) & voided Check #29671 <br /> <br />2.Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims through August 13, 2015 (Check #10485- <br />10508) <br /> <br />3.Centennial Fire District Claims through August 12, 2015 (Check #7052-7060) <br /> <br />4.Res. #15-0XX – Constitution Week <br /> <br />5.Res. #15-0XX – Domestic Violence Awareness Month <br /> <br />6.Res. #15-0XX – Authorizing Approving Modifications to Utility Billing Procedures for <br />the City of Centerville <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber provided Council Members an opportunity to pull items from the Consent <br />Agenda for additional discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve the <br />Consent Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Continuation of Lawn Mowing Services <br /> <br /> a. Dario Lawn Care ~ $17,400 <br /> b. A & L Sod ~ $30,950 <br /> c. Wenzel Maintenance ~ $35,880 <br /> <br />Public Works Director Palzer stated that the City had received notice that its current lawn <br />service, Goetz Landscaping, ceased operations on July 31, 2015. He stated that he received the <br />above stated proposals for services to complete the growing season (October). He also stated <br />that there was roughly an 18% increase in price comparison from the previous provider. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher seconded by Council Member Love to approve <br />Dario Lawn Care in an amount not to exceed $17,400 to complete the remainder of the <br />season.
