To reduce exposure to litigation,the <br /> owner/operator of a sliding area should stay up to date with respect to new informa- <br /> tion,new equipment,and the sliding practices of the public Operators should docu- <br /> ment all of their activities and practices that are undertaken to ensure safety at their <br /> hill(s). (This is important defence material should a claim be made for an injury.) 1 <br /> 1 <br /> Operators should have a defined policy to inspect sliding hills on a regular basis. 1 <br /> Each inspection should be documented,including dates,inspector's name,deficien 1 <br /> cies,and corrective measures taken.
