<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 23, 2015 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting of September 23, 2015 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Member Ben Fehrenbacher <br /> Council Member Steve King <br /> Council Member Jeff Paar <br /> Council Member D. Love <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> City Administrator Mike Ericson <br /> City Engineer Mark Statz <br /> Lead Project Coordinator Greg Burmeister <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATION <br /> <br />1. Parks & Recreation Committee Presentation ~ Past Chairperson/Fete des Lacs <br />5K/8K Run/Walk Coordinator Mr. Pat Branch <br /> a. Res. #15-030 – A Resolution Recognizing Patrick Branch for His Years of <br /> Dedicated Public Service on the Centerville Parks & Recreation Committee <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber read the resolution and presented Mr. Branch with it along with a <br />commemorative #1 race bib signed by members of the Parks & Recreation Committee. <br /> <br />Mr. Branch stated that he enjoyed his time serving on the Committee and felt that they <br />accomplished many projects through sponsorships, donations and volunteer hours. Mr. Branch <br />listed some of the many projects that were accomplished through the proceeds from the 5K/8K <br />Run/Walks throughout the years (park benches, basketball court, volleyball court, Music in the <br />Park equipment, etc.). Mr. Branch felt that the continued efforts of the Committee would serve <br />the residents and patrons of the community well into the future and thanked Council for its <br />support over the years. <br /> <br />2.
