PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />1. Local BQard of Appeal and Ecuu\lj7Jltion. Anoka Co_ <br /> <br />Mayor Capra opened the public hearing at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Ms. Haas explained that this hearing is for valuation and not for tax purposes. She then <br />said that the Department of Revenue will be monitoring parcels owned by board <br />members or relatives or if anyone bas financial in.tenm and will be keeping record of that <br />and will call random. surveys who attended the Boards to see public perception and see if <br />the requirements.are met with the traini"IJ. She then outlined the increases in residential. <br />commercial and multiple housing valuations. <br /> <br />Ms. Haas noted that the State requires them to be at l000,{) of market value and they are at <br />96% for Centerville. <br /> <br />run Van Houdt of 1748 Ojibway Drive thanked Council for fixing the drainage in JUs <br />area.
