Unfortunately <br />these organizations did not have the available time to <br />participate. They have previous engagements already. <br />• Parks and Recreation Action Item — Ferri Kolstad — <br />Mike Erickson made introductions and Kerri provided <br />some background on Wahoo Adventures. <br />7:05 pm 3. 2015 Committees <br />• Publicity — Flyer m windows of businesses <br />• Food — Lions <br />• Music — Tom Lee <br />* Volunteers -- Lions and Park & Recreation <br />• Sponsors — Mike and Kerri <br />• Parade — Jeff and Ben We would like to see the parade <br />go to park from the school (not blocking off Centerville <br />Road) and get them to the park for those that want to <br />compete for a prize. <br />• All Star Softball Game --- Todd Steffen <br />• Security — CLPD — <br />• 5K & 8K Run Race Director -- Ferri Kolstad <br />• Thank You's - <br />• Fireworks — City/Lions - would like to see happen on <br />Saturday if we can draw more people to the park <br />* Bingo — Lions - Possible Saturday and Sunday — may <br />get the scouts to help volunteer <br />• In discussions regarding getting businesses involved, we <br />thought maybe we could have an evening with our (need <br />a good word here).. have the Police, Fire, CERT team <br />and possible K-9 units up by city hall to have kids learn <br />and experience the whole fun of trucks, police cruisers <br />etc. Try to build a great example for the young kids to <br />know that these people are working to protect them and <br />keep them safe etc. <br />
