<br />E~HIHIT E -- mn <br /> <br />PLUMBING AND HEA'l'ING PERMITS <br /> <br />1. Plumbing Permits <br /> <br />A. . The charge shall be five dollars ($5.00) (not to exceed $100) for each <br />plumbing :fixture, device or connection to the sewer or plumbing system, <br />with a minimum charge offifteen dollars ($15.00) <br /> <br />B. For any alteration, repair or extension to an existing plumbing system, <br />where the work is of such a nature that the permit fee charge cannot be <br />determined from the above schedule, the permit fee shall be thirtY dollars <br />($30.00) first five-hundred dollars ($500.00) or fraction thereof, plus <br />fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each additional five-hundred dollars ($500.00) <br />or fraction thereof of the total market value of such alteration, repair or <br />extension. <br /> <br />2. Mechanical Permits <br /> <br />The charge for a residential dwelling shall be twenty dollars ($20.00) for the <br />following: <br /> <br />. Main Gas Line Piping <br />. Furance <br />. Air conditioner <br />. Boiler <br />. Air Exchanger <br />. Fireplace <br />. Unit heater <br />. Gas Dryer <br />. Gas Stove <br />. General Sheet Metal <br />· Duct Work <br />· Miscellaneous Mechanical Fixtures <br />. Pool Heater <br /> <br />A minimum charge of twenty dollars ($20.00) for fireplaces. <br /> <br />The charge for commercial, industrial or institutional building shall be: <br /> <br />Two percent (2%) of the total cost of labor and materials of the heating, <br />Ventilation and air conditioning work to be completed. <br /> <br />Work commenced without first obtaining a permit shall be charged an <br />investigative fee <br />equal to perm.!-t fees. <br />
