Staff spent months researching various <br />systems, finally choosing Avid It was a wise choice as <br />the equipment is very robust Unlike most other non- <br />linear sYstems, this one has yet to crash during an edit This type of editing system is perfect for <br />programs that include a lot of segmentS, or for intros or prom os. -The system offers precise <br />control of video and audio and makes it simple to make changes to finished segments. . <br /> <br /> <br />communities is remarkable. They also put together a <br />new logo and graphics to improve the overall look of the show. <br /> <br />IIll An anniversary <br />September 2002 represented the one year Ii1ark of producing City Scope on a weekly basis. Well <br />over 300 stories about events, issues, and people in our comrmmities were produced by Aric and <br />Katie. It's important to note that most of these stories were not covered by broadcast television, <br />leaving the responsibility to cover truly local news to City Scope. In addition, each episode of <br />the program includes 'a comrmJnity events segment called "What's Happening" and a tr:i,via <br />question. <br /> <br />;' s'iX~;: ~~6~UCED PROG~'AMS">' <br />-' - .~ <br />" , <br /> <br />The number of programs produced by staff is up for the fifth year. In fact, the increase over <br />2001 from 246 pro8x'ams produced to 2003's 304 programs is remarkable.
