This mapping is continually updated with every development <br /> <br />The city has nuisance ordinances and standards In effect to prohibit dumping In the public right of way. Dry <br />weather flows are typically a rare event and they are usually determined after the fact. Public employees <br />informally watch for dry weather flow as well as other out of the ordinary storm water occurrences. The city <br />. will attempt to determine the source of any dry weather flows that are discovered through the use of smoke <br />testing or other methods. Smoke testing has been used .also to attempt to define the location of drain tile <br />systems. The drain tile systems are stand alone systems and do not drain into the MS4, however they do <br />tend to outlet at the same locations as the storm sewer outlets. There are no known illicit connections <br />perceived by staff. <br /> <br />There are no specific codes regarding private sanitary system inspections. There have .not been any <br />citizen complaints, but failed septic systems have been discovered and corrected. <br /> <br />MCM 4 - Construction Site Runoff Control <br />All development actiylties in Centervil!e are required to go through a plan review process, as regulated by <br />the Rice Creek Watershed.
